Hi y'all...first things first. I have to give a BIG shout out to a couple of wonderful blogs. Imagine how thrilled I was when I checked my mail and found that I was a Top Ten winner, and the Pick of the Week over at The CSI Project for my
"Song Birds" ...Wow and Double Wow!!! Thanks so much to their guest judge Janny.
I also found my "Game Cabinet" featured by Megan @ Polish The Stars.
Check out these fabulous parties...Thanks so much!!!
Now on to my "quickie" project...wearable paperclips! Does that make this a "green" project? I thinks so. I have way too many paper clips...ever since I discovered gem clips...or is it gym clips? Whatever, I like em' way better than paperclips. So what do you do with all those extra paperclips?...make a craft, of course! I searched everywhere grabbed my needle nose pliers, and my extra large paperclips with an idea...wire rings. I straightened the clips by hand and then proceeded to twist them together...like this...
After twisting I wrapped it around my finger to make a good fit...then twisted again...like so...
With four wires to work with I start twisting again...this time with the pliers...
I tried several different kinds of twists...random, flower, and heart. Here are the results...
Amelia loves these and even wore one to school....a definite sign of approval from an eleven year old girl! I couldn't resist taking pics with the beautiful Spring flowers...not to mention that I do NOT have model hands! I would love to hear what you think...will you try it? Thanks for stopping by.

Very crafty of you Lori! I think I will give it a try today. Your use of flowers is a gorgeous way to stage them. [I don't have model hands either, so we'll see what I can come up with :)]
Oh I agree the flowers are just gorgeous!!
Sweet! That's hard wire to work with too. Well done. Hugs and thank you for joining in the fun at the Thursday Favorite Things hop xo
What a cute idea! You are very clever! And it's thrifty too!
Your paper clip rings are very cute. I love how you have them staged in the flower!

A very creative idea. The flowers turned out so pretty, and the paper clip rings so very cute. Great use of staging. I like all of the rings. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best!
Hi Lori! Love the rings and the staging. Super cute and clever idea! I've got a lot of those clips hanging around the house, so I might just have to give it a shot. Thanks for sharing them! ~Mary
I love ideas that use everyday items...and your rings look cute too! Thanks so much for sharing at the Rock N Share! I shared this on my FB page today.
WOW! Who'd have thought paper clips could be so pretty?
I found you via CSI Project
