Curbside find...a bit wobbly |
A bunch of curvy wood....etc |
|
|
Now to the rest of the story...Ever tried to be creative?....It just doesn't work, but I was determined to "create" with this pile of wood...something that would work with the shape of the wood. My first ideas....an ampersand or a treble clef...like this...
|
|
I set it all aside and moved on...and I'm glad I did, cause' the inspiration hit...
I just saw it!
I started laying out pieces and asking Cliff to fit it together. I didn't even say what it was going to be, cause' I didn't want to explain the "why" of it all. Of course, my sweet husband just went along....and with a smile too!
Gotta love that man!!!!!
So here is how our journey progressed on the first day...

That is one of the most creative things I have ever seen!!! Definitely pinning it. I saw a chair like this for sale the other day and remembered how you took it apart and made the jewelry display. I was looking at the other parts wondering what could be done with them. I never thought of an owl!!!
I agree! How exceptionally creative of you & I love the owl.

I was scrolling down, looking at the pictures of the process, and I had no idea where it was going to end up..and then all of a sudden, there was an adorable owl! LOL...What unbelievable creativity! How in the world you looked at that chair and saw an the "anatomy" of an owl, I will never understand. Good job!
